Hi everyone. I’m considering using a PR firm. I have been for a while, but up to now, I’m still sitting on the fence. Have you used a PR firm yourself? What were the results? Would you recommend it? I’m just wondering how using a PR firm can help to build my brand. Looking forward to your feedback. Thanks.
Lots of companies both big and small use PR firms. These agencies can do a lot for a business. Of course, you will need to use a good, experienced and reputable one. If you did not have success in the past, perhaps it was just not the right agency.
We use Broad Reach Communications and have reaped the benefits as a result. PR agencies will always have a bunch of strategies in order to create an awareness of your brand. This helps people to know more about the company and understand better. This is what you want, after all.
You see, when this happens, then you can certainly expect to attract more customers which equates to more business. It will help if your marketing team and the PR agency can work together on projects in order to get the best results.
I see. I suppose working together is an important thing. But what if it isn’t a good fit? What if the marketing and PR can’t work together? Oh, thanks for the recommendation, by the way.
To be honest, I don’t know the answer to that. I would think that somehow, you will all have to try to work together. If it doesn’t work, then you may have to change to another PR firm.
We were lucky that it worked out really well for us. I suppose the main thing is that it should be a good fit for all concerned and everyone should work happily with each other. If not, then something needs to change.
Marketing can help target the right customers. You can use such targeted information and zero in on specific customers. The other person is right; the two teams need to work in tandem to achieve positive results. This can help find potential clients and let them know about products and services and give them updates as well.
Apart from building your brand, a PR firm can also help you to build your company’s credibility and trust. This is important and needs no explanation. Would you go to, or trust someone shady with a bad reputation? Or with no reputation? A PR firm can change this. That is the power a good agency can wield.
Right, I totally agree.
You see, a PR agency is like a third-party endorsement. This makes it more powerful. Anyone can place ads here, there and everywhere. These ads are paid for, so they can rely on embellishment. This is not so trustworthy.
An agency can use other means and strategies to gain trust from people. It becomes more natural and thus, more believable.
Ah yes, that makes perfect sense. Anyone can say whatever they want in an ad because they are paid to do so.
Alright then, I think I am going to hop off this fence before I develop haemorrhoids! Thank you all for some very good info on this topic. I appreciate the feedback. Have a good day folks!
